Free Balochistan Movement UK Branch to Protest on March 27
LONDON: The UK branch of the Free Balochistan Movement has announced a protest demonstration in London, the capital of Great Britain, on March 27th, marking Balochistan Occupation Day.
In a statement to the media, the FBM UK branch declared that, following consultation with party workers, it was decided to hold a protest regarding Occupation Day on March 27th in front of the British Prime Minister’s official residence in London. Additionally, a public awareness campaign will be conducted on the same day.
March 27th, 1948, witnessed the forcible and illegal occupation of the eastern part of Balochistan by Pakistan. Every year on this day, the Baloch nation protests and conducts awareness campaigns throughout Balochistan and in foreign countries to inform the world about Pakistan’s state terrorism and human rights abuses in Balochistan.
The protest by the Free Balochistan Movement UK branch is scheduled to take place from 1 pm to 3 pm opposite 10 Downing Street.
The Free Balochistan Movement has appealed to Baloch activists living in the UK to participate in the protest, emphasizing that “it is our common responsibility to expose the oppression, atrocities, and brutality of occupying states against Balochistan to the world, international institutions, and the media to convince them to discuss the problem.”
