Balochistan: ISI Headquarters Attacked in Nushki, FC Personnel Killed in Dukki
QUETTA: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for two separate attacks in Balochistan’s Nushki and Dukki regions on March 26 and 27, respectively.
According to media reports, BLA spokesperson Azad Baloch stated that on the evening of March 27, fighters from his organization attacked security personnel at the Nasir Coalmining Company site in Dukki.
He added that during the clash, Pakistani forces’ FC arrived to reinforce the state-backed operatives against BLA fighters.
“As a result of the fierce battle, at least one FC personnel was killed on the spot and two others were injured,” Azad Baloch said.
The BLA, in its statement, urged the people of the concerned areas to avoid any association with state-backed armed operatives and to keep their distance from them.
“If someone is found deliberately in close relation to such armed groups or death squads formed by Pakistani institutions, action will be taken against him,” the organization warned.
One day before the Dukki attack on March 26, BLA freedom fighters targeted the headquarters of Pakistan’s secret agency, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), in the Qaziabad area of Nushki.
In their statement to the media, BLA spokesperson Azad Baloch stated that the main compound of the camp was first targeted with rockets.
Additionally, BLA fighters also opened intense fire on a vehicle belonging to intelligence agencies that was about to enter the camp premises. As a result of the firing, personnel in the vehicle suffered casualties.
