Foreign countries should refrain from becoming Pakistan’s partner in Baloch Genocide: FBM

LONDON: The Free Balochistan Movement in a statement to the media said that the Baloch nation is struggling for the restoration of independence of United Balochistan against the occupying Pakistan and Iran. The Baloch nation has rendered countless sacrifices for the restoration of Balochistan’s independence and sovereign status.

The independent movement is still going on, at such time while Balochistan is under foreign occupation, if any other nation thinks that it will profit itself by cooperating with the occupying Pakistan state by investing in Balochistan against the will of the Baloch nation, then we want to make it clear to them that any such action will be at the cost of Baloch genocide and all such countries and forces will be considered allies of Pakistan in the ongoing genocide and bloodshed of Baloch nation.

The statement further said that because of the changing situation in the region where friendships and enmities are changing and the countries of the region are trying to establish new relationships, in such situations Saudi Arabia and many other countries are investing in Pakistan. Several memorandums of understanding and bilateral cooperation have been agreed upon. The recent visits of the Saudi Minister of Investment and the Foreign Minister in Pakistan and their statements show that Pakistan is taking the advantage of the changing situation in the region and trying to get support for its struggling economy. It wants to fulfill its military and economic objectives by trading Balochistan’s valuable resources with more partners.

In this context, the expression of special interest by Saudi Arabia is of great concern for the Baloch nation. We do not want any non-responsive nation to partner with Pakistan to loot Baloch national resources against the Baloch national interests.

The president of the occupying Iranian state, Ibrahim Raisi, has come to visit occupying Pakistan, given the same regional conflict. It is for sure that both occupying forces are advancing their military and economic alliance against the Baloch nation, which will result in more bloodshed for the Baloch people in occupied Balochistan.

Occupying Iran on the one hand is perpetrating Baloch genocide on clumsy claims and the other, they will try to jointly suppress the Baloch nation as they did in the past by increasing economic and military ties with Pakistan.

Moreover, during this visit, an eight-point agreement was concluded between the two occupiers, Iran and Pakistan, all articles and clauses of which are against Baloch national interests and based on increased hostility against Baloch people.

Apart from this, in view of the mutual conflict between Iran and Saudi Arabia, they want to fight the war for their interests in the Baloch land. Pakistan is conspiring to take the conflict of Iran and Saudi Arabia to the land of Balochistan to prove that the Baloch freedom struggle is a proxy force for others, which means they want to turn Balochistan’s ground into a communalism conflict.

The statement said that the Baloch have no objection to Saudi Arabia or any other country investing or doing business in Pakistani Punjab, but we want to make it clear to the world that Balochistan is not a part of Pakistan. Rather, Balochistan is an occupied territory of Pakistan and the status of occupation has not been accepted by the Baloch nation since the first day, nor has the Baloch nation remained silent regarding this occupation.

By starting practical resistance in the first moments of occupation, the Baloch nation has made it clear to the world that Pakistan and Balochistan are two separate entities and whoever supported Pakistan by becoming a part of the Pakistani narrative, the Baloch nation will act against them. We reserve the right to resist because the looting of the national wealth of Balochistan and the underground bargaining of minerals will not bring any material and financial benefit to the Baloch nation.

Ultimately, the investment money coming from all such investments will be used to suppress the Baloch liberation movement by the occupying Pakistani state which is a cause of total loss for the Baloch national collective interests.

The statement further said that there are reports that Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries are fighting a war of defence on Baloch land by ensuring their presence in Gwadar and adjacent areas in the name of investment in Balochistan to fulfil their political objectives in the region.

The Baloch nation is against any such tactics and warns all the Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia to never become Pakistan’s partner against the political resistance of Baloch national independence on Baloch land like China’s expansionist strategies. And do not stain your hands and feet with the blood of the Baloch nation.

Today, in the case of Palestine, the Arab world slanders Europe’s aid and investment in Israel, saying that women, children and unarmed people are being killed there. They have become accomplices in this war while being indifferent to Palestinian suffering.

So exactly in the same way Baloch nation believes that the occupying Pakistan is engaged in Baloch genocide, it has committed massacre of Baloch for the past seventy-six years to keep the Baloch as slaves by force, and on the other hand, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries are playing the role of accomplice with occupying Pakistan in the Baloch genocide, showing their indifference to Baloch suffering and now they’ve intended to become partner in looting the resources of occupied Balochistan and that will support Pakistan’s faltering economy.

This act falls into the category of a pure double standard where on one hand the Arab countries cry for Palestine and declare the policies of other countries as indifferent and hypocritical but they are becoming partners with an occupier whose intention is to erase the existence of Baloch from their on land.
