Pakistan Army Used Civilians as Human Shields to Counter Our Attack: BLA
QUETTA: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), in a statement to the media, said that on April 27, BLA fighters blocked the road from Sanjavi to Harnai at the Mahrawaan Tank area of Harnai in search of personnel from Pakistan’s Intelligence Agencies.
The spokesperson of the organization, Azad Baloch, added that during the check, Pakistan forces in plain clothes and vehicles attacked BLA fighters and used civilians as human shields for their protection.
The statement further added that in response to this cowardly and shameful strategy of the Pakistani army, our fighters counter-attacked with utmost caution to save the lives and property of civilians.
As a result of the effective counterattack by BLA, the Pakistani army retreated, but soon more troops of the occupying forces reached the spot from nearby areas.
During this clash, two personnel of the Pakistani forces were injured while a fighter of BLA, Mama, also known as Kamash Baloch, embraced martyrdom fighting bravely. Mama Kamash Baloch was a sincere and fearless comrade. “We salute his bravery and appreciate his struggle.”
Azad Baloch reiterated that BLA’s control in the above-mentioned areas was very strong in all respects. Hence, the Pakistani army has consistently violated the laws of war by carrying out its offensives in the guise of civilians.
