Balochistan: Dead bodies of two abducted men found, another recovered critically wounded
QUETTA: The dead body of one of the two men abducted from Naghad Road Surab was recovered while the other has been found critically injured.
The victims Abdul Qadir son of Khair Muhammad Mirwani and Abdul Nabi residents of Naghad were abducted yesterday evening from Surab Link Road.
Today, the tortured body of one of the hostages, Abdul Qadir, was recovered from Tok Qalat whereas Abdul Nabi was found critically wounded.
Their relatives of men and residents of Surab had blocked the Quetta – Karachi highway to demand their immediate and safe release.
Earlier, the tortured dead body of a previously abducted Baloch youth was discovered in Panjgur’s Pulabad area in Jurkan Kaur.
The victim Naveed Lala Bakhsh was reportedly abducted by a government-backed armed group Death Squad from the Hoshaab area of Kech district Balochistan on June 18.
The identity of the dead body was confirmed after the Levies Force shifted it to the teaching hospital for identification.
It should be noted that pro-freedom Baloch political parties and human rights activists say that the Pakistani army has formed armed groups, commonly called death squads, to counter the freedom struggle.
Baloch activists and political parties argue that the state-backed death squads are also involved in anti-social behaviours besides murder and disappearances with full support and impunity from the state of Pakistan.
