Baloch Liberation Army Takes Responsibility for Attack on Mineral Truck in Kharan
KHARAN: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has accepted responsibility for an attack on a truck carrying chromite in Kharan.
In a statement released today, the BLA spokesperson, Azad Baloch, detailed the events that took place on September 26.
According to the statement, BLA fighters intercepted the truck near Kharan Kunari Cross, detaining both the vehicle and its two drivers. The fighters fired upon the truck, causing significant damage.
However, the drivers, who were identified as Baloch, were released with the condition that they would refrain from participating in the extraction of national resources in the future.
“Our freedom fighters took this action to prevent the looting of our natural wealth,” said Azad Baloch. He emphasised the organisation’s commitment to resisting the exploitation of Balochistan’s resources by outside interests.
Before the Kharan attack, the BLA attacked a construction company in Kalat, Balochistan and set its machinery on fire.
