BLA Pays Tribute to Six Comrades Martyred in Pakistan Air Force Bombing in Harnai.
QUETTA: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has paid tribute to six of its comrades martyred in a bombing by the Pakistani Air Force in Harnai.
The attack occurred on September 12 at 4 AM, when jet fighters, supported by drone surveillance, dropped heavy bombs on BLA fighters in the Ali Khan Thal area.
Azad Baloch, the spokesperson of BLA, said that following the attack, the morally bankrupt enemy desecrated the bodies of the martyred fighters, taking their body parts using gunship helicopters.
“We salute our brave martyrs: Shaheed Shafo Sumalani alias Tadain, Shaheed Samad Khan Chalgari Marri alias Dostain, Shaheed Muhammad Gul Marri alias Waheed Baloch, Shaheed Ghulam Qadir Marri alias Anjeer Baloch, Shaheed Ubaid Baloch alias Fida, and Shaheed Taj Muhammad Chalgari Marri alias Babul.”
The BLA in its statement gave a brief background of all six fighters as follows: “Shaheed Ghulam Qadir Marri alias Anjeer Baloch was from the Nisau Jahbar area. He joined the organization in 2014 and served in Kahan, Bambur, and adjacent areas for seven years before fighting on the Bolan front for the past three years.
The fighters martyred in Harnai were under his command while on patrol. His family has a long history of sacrifice for the Baloch national movement; three of his brothers—Shaheed Nadi Jameel Marri, Shaheed Kowda Shadi Khan Marri, and Shaheed Sohbat Khan Marri—also sacrificed their lives for the national cause through from BLA platform. The organisation values his skills, dedication, and ten years of selfless struggle.
“Shaheed Shafo Sumalani alias Tadain Baloch was from Bolan Gharbo. He began his struggle in 2016 through the BLA platform and served steadfastly on various war fronts for the past eight years. He will be remembered as a dedicated and sincere fighter.
“Shaheed Muhammad Gul Marri alias Waheed Baloch hailed from Chamalang Barg and was a cousin of Shaheed Fidayee Darwesh Marri, Shaheed Chakar Bolani, and Shaheed Gul Hamd Marri. His family has been in exile for twenty years due to the enemy state’s tyranny. He served on the front lines for the last three years and was known for his bravery and national pride.
“Shaheed Ubaid Baloch, son of Muhammad Amin alias Fida, hailed from Gwadar Panwan and joined the Bolan front in March of this year. In a short time, he distinguished himself as an outstanding fighter through his talent and hard work.
“Shaheed Taj Muhammad Chalgari Marri alias Babul hailed from Bolan Pul Kodi and had been serving on the Bolan front for the past three years. His family has faced exile due to oppression by the occupying state. His brother, Shaheed Commander Nadir Mari alias Gwando, and Shaheed Lal Muhammad Chalgari are also martyrs from his household, which has lost nine members to the struggle. The organisation deeply values their sacrifices.
“Shaheed Samad Khan Chalgari Marri alias Dostain Baloch hailed from Bolan Gharbo and had been dedicated to the national struggle through the BLA platform for the past one and a half years. He will be remembered as a hardworking and brave fighter.”
The BLA in its statement vowed to continue the liberation struggle until the complete independence of Balochistan, honouring the blood of their fallen comrades.
