Baloch Man Arrested and Disappeared After Deportation From Bahrain

Karachi, September 9, 2024 — A Baloch man has been arrested and disappeared from Karachi airport after his deportation from Bahrain on August 28, 2024.

According to details, Asad Baloch son of Usman Baloch, a resident of Mand Kahnak in district Kech Balochistan, was arrested by Bahraini authorities on August 28 and subsequently deported to Pakistan under unexplained circumstances, according to family sources.

Baloch, who was deported from Bahrain, arrived in Karachi on August 29 via an Arab Emirates transit flight. Upon arrival, he was detained at Karachi Airport by Pakistani government officials and has since been reported missing.

The disappearance of Asad Baloch has sparked concern among his relatives, who demanded his immediate release.

They have called for a transparent investigation into his detention and if he is accused of any crime, he should be presented in court to face legal proceedings.

The authorities have not yet commented on the situation, leaving family members and human rights advocates anxiously awaiting further information.
