Nine Pakistani Soldiers Killed as Dera Bugti Offensives Continue

QUETTA: The ongoing military offensive in Dera Bugti has entered its fourth day, marked by continuous shelling of civilian areas in Linju and Saghari by six military helicopters of the Pakistani army.
According to reports, two more individuals, including a child, have been injured as a result of these relentless attacks.
A military convoy of twenty vehicles has been reported entering the Linju Saghari area from the nearby Sindh district of Kashmore. This convoy includes four tanks, one broke down and was abandoned near Kachi Canal, while the remainder successfully reached Linju.
The military offensive has involved ground troops, supported by air power, persistently shelling the regions of Linju, Saghari, Rais Tokh, and Kachi Canal. Mortar fire from military posts has targeted civilian populations, resulting in over a dozen injuries, with a significant number of those affected being women and children.
Meanwhile, Sarbaz Baloch, spokesperson for the Baloch Republican Army (BRA), claimed that Baloch fighters successfully targeted a Pakistani military convoy in the Saghari area today using a remote-controlled bomb, followed by an assault with rockets and automatic weapons.
According to Sarbaz Baloch, this attack resulted in the deaths of nine Pakistani army personnel and injured eleven others.
Sarbaz Baloch condemned the military’s actions, stating that the army had exceeded all limits of oppression in the affected areas.
He emphasised that unarmed civilians have been subjected to continuous shelling from helicopters throughout the day.
The spokesperson claimed that a strong response is being mounted against the “naked aggression” of the Pakistani army and reiterated that further actions would follow.
