Balochistan: Pakistan Military Collaborator’s Hideout Attacked in Kharan
QUETTA: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for an attack on the hideout of Pakistani military operative Latif Notezi, which took place on November 23, 2024, near Bab-e-Kharan.
According to a statement released by BLA spokesperson Azad Baloch, the group’s fighters hurled two grenades and opened fire on the hideout at sunset. The attack, the spokesperson stated, was aimed specifically at Latif Notezi, who is a military operative involved in operations against Baloch activists.
However, the BLA statement added that their fighters intentionally refrained from targeting individuals who were present at the hideout during the attack. The group stated that those individuals were either there seeking livelihood or were unaware of the nature of the hideout.
The statement further warned the residents of Kharan that Latif Notezi and his brother remain on the BLA’s target list, urging locals to distance themselves from any of their residences, business establishments, or hideouts.
The BLA made it clear that its freedom fighters could carry out attacks on such locations at any time or place.
“We take responsibility for this attack and remain committed to our struggle,” Azad Baloch, the BLA spokesperson, said in the statement.
