BLA Claims Responsibility for Explosive Attacks on ISI Headquarters in Nushki

QUETTA: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for five simultaneous bomb attacks targeting the headquarters of Pakistan’s intelligence agency, ISI, in Nushki, Balochistan.

The attacks were reportedly carried out at 8:00 AM on January 3, resulting in loss of life and damage to property, according to a statement issued by the group’s spokesperson, Azad Baloch.

The targeted facility is described by the BLA as a key ISI base for the region, encompassing the entire Rakhshan division. The group said that the camp houses detention and torture cells where numerous Baloch individuals have been held for extended periods.

In the statement, the BLA vowed to continue such operations until the “independence of occupied Balochistan” is achieved.

Pakistani forces in Balochistan frequently come under attack from armed separatist groups, including the BLA.

The incident highlights the ongoing unrest and insurgency in Balochistan, where pro-freedom armed groups accuse the Pakistani state of occupying sovereign Balochistan, exploiting the region’s resources and suppressing its people.
