The attack began around 2:00 PM, when dozens of military vehicles, including Toyota Hilux trucks and civilian cars with private plates, surrounded Nusratabad and other areas. Iranian forces, wearing military and security uniforms, raided several Baloch homes, arresting residents and causing widespread panic. Among the arrested were several women and children. The individuals were then taken to an unknown location.

Local sources confirmed that during the raid, Iranian forces violently searched the homes, damaging household goods, and intimidating the residents both verbally and physically. Witnesses reported that the forces created a climate of fear, breaking household items and harassing the families.

While the specific reason for this large-scale operation remains unclear, unofficial sources suggest that some detainees’ families were told that the arrests were related to accusations of anti-government activities. However, no formal charges have been disclosed.

This raid is part of an ongoing pattern of repression against Baloch people in Iranian-occupied Balochistan, where security forces routinely target civilians through arbitrary arrests and violent raids.

The victims of state violence have urged human rights organisations to investigate the situation, as Baloch residents continue to face systematic discrimination and harassment at the hands of Iranian forces.
