BLA Honours its Watan Nadrig for Courageous Attack on FC Convoy in Kalat

QUETTA: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has praised the bravery and significant role of *Watan Nadrig (patriot) Banuk Mahikan Baloch in the recent attack on the convoy of the FC Wing Commander in Kalat.

According to the spokesperson of BLA, Azad Baloch, the attack, which took place on March 2, resulted in the deaths of the Wing Commander and several personnel.

In a statement, the BLA expressed deep admiration for * Namiran Banuk Mahikan Baloch, highlighting her unmatched courage in successfully completing this historic mission.

Banuk Mahikan Baloch, a member of the BLA’s elite Majeed Brigade, hails from Gwadar in occupied Balochistan. She joined the Majeed Brigade voluntarily four years ago, demonstrating exceptional mental strength and determination.

Over the years, the Majeed Brigade leadership closely observed her resolve, giving her the freedom to reconsider her decision and subjecting her to periodic tests to ensure her commitment was based on conscious thought rather than emotion. Through this process, it became clear that her decision was firm and unwavering from the beginning.

An educated freedom fighter, Banuk Mahikan Baloch earned a Bachelor of Science degree and was well-versed in Baloch history and literature. Her love and dedication to the Baloch nation, language, and land were described as profound, a passion that cannot be expressed in words.

The BLA statement elaborated that the Majeed Brigade, a special wing of the BLA, is made up of highly conscious Watan Nadrigs selected for special missions. The organisation considers this wing vital in its ongoing struggle for a free and independent Balochistan.

Since the martyrdom of the first Watan Nadrig, Namiran Darwesh Baloch, the Majeed Brigade has continued its efforts, with a growing number of Baloch youth volunteering to become part of this mission to challenge the occupying forces.

The BLA expressed immense pride in Banuk Mahikan Baloch’s bravery and described her as a guiding light for future generations of Baloch youth.

Watan Nadrig Audio Message

Along with honouring her bravery, the BLA released a powerful audio message from Banuk Mahikan Baloch.

In the three-minute-long message, which was delivered in both Balochi and English, Banuk Mahikan Baloch elaborated on the reasons behind the attack and discussed the ongoing exploitation and division of Baloch land by the occupying forces.

She criticised the various methods used by the occupiers to divide the Baloch homeland, including tactics based on religion, tribalism, and other means of division.

She expressed that the pain and suffering of the Baloch people are universal, whether in Karachi, Dera Ismail Khan, Zahidan, Helmand, or Nimroz. She called for unity among all Baloch people, urging them to come together and continue their fight for freedom and sovereignty.

Banuk Mahikan Baloch reaffirmed the BLA’s mission to defend the historical borders and sovereignty of Balochistan. She also emphasised that both Iranian and Pakistani occupiers are equally responsible for the repression and suffering experienced by the Baloch nation.

The group’s spokesperson, Azad Baloch , added that the BLA continues to carry forward the legacy of its martyrs and freedom fighters, with Banuk Mahikan Baloch’s courage standing as a beacon of hope and resilience for Baloch youth committed to the cause of liberation.
