Prove your allegation or resign: Sammi Deen challenges CM Balochistan

QUETTA: In response to allegations made by Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) leader Sammi Deen Baloch has issued a strong rebuttal, openly challenging Bugti to present evidence to support his claims.
This comes after Bugti, in a recent interview with a journalist on a Pakistani TV channel, accused members of the BYC of being anti-state and specifically alleged that Sammi Deen Baloch had set the Pakistani flag. He claimed he had a video to proves this and he would WhatsApp the video to the journalist interviewing him.
Sammi Deen Baloch, responding to what she called a blatant lie, said: “Our peaceful movement has consistently been targeted by lies and media propaganda aimed at discrediting us. The same lies are being repeated today. Not a single allegation made against us so far has ever been proven.”
Addressing the Chief Minister directly, she said: “I challenge Sarfaraz Bugti to publicly release the video he claims exists. Tell the nation when, where, and on what occasion I burned the Pakistani flag. If he can prove this allegation, I will surrender myself to the law. But if he cannot—which I know he won’t—then he must resign immediately.”
She also called on the judiciary to take legal action against the Chief Minister for spreading false, defamatory, and misleading statements.
Furthermore, Sammi stated: “If people can be abducted or arrested based on false allegations, then the law should apply equally to everyone.”
However, this is not the first time the Chief Minister has blatantly lied on national television. He made similar claims when he was the Home Minister of Balochistan and even now, as CM, which he later failed to prove. These were merely lies intended to mislead the public and the media.
