Balochistan: Bodies of Three Men Found in Kech District

SHAAL, BALOCHISTAN: The discovery of three bodies in Balochistan’s Kech district has raised alarm over the ongoing wave of violence, forced disappearances, and extrajudicial killings by Pakistani forces and their sponsored death squads.

Among the victims is 26-year-old Imran son of Nadel Hayat, a resident of Tump’s Gomazi area, whose body was found today near Gomazi Cross. Imran had been forcibly disappeared by state-backed death squad operatives from his home on November 26, 2025, at around 2 a.m. His wedding celebrations were underway when armed personnel entered his house, abducted him, and took him into custody.

According to Imran’s family, the kidnappers demanded a ransom of 20 million Pakistani Rupees for his release. However, due to financial constraints, the family was unable to pay the demanded amount. Over the following two days, they reportedly received repeated threats from the abductors, who warned them of severe consequences if they failed to meet the ransom demand.

Tragically, two days later, Imran’s lifeless body was discarded by his captors near Gomazi, with signs of torture and physical abuse evident on his remains.

In a separate case, another two dead bodies were recovered in Dasht, Balochistan. The victims were identified as Tahir Ahmad son of Allah Baksh, a resident of Dasht Sholi area and Abu Bakr son of Hasil, a resident of Dasht, Balnigwar Kaliro.

Abu Bakr was forcibly disappeared by Pakistani military personnel on November 26, 2025.

He was simple Baloch man who supported his family by selling vegetables from a cart, was abducted by armed forces in the Gwadar Baloch Ward. After two days of his disappearance, his mutilated body was found on November 28, 2025, in the D-Baloch area of Kech district.

His body showed clear signs of torture and severe punishment, indicating that he had been subjected to brutal treatment before his death.

The discovery of both Imran’s and Abu Bakr’s bodies adds to the rising toll of abductions and killings in Balochistan, a region that has long been the site Pakistani state aggressions and human rights abuses. Local residents and activists have voiced concerns about the increasing militarisation of Balochistan and the targeting of civilians by both state-backed and paramilitary forces.
