Balochistan: Pakistani Forces Abducted Four Men from Dera Bugti and Kech

SHAAL, BALOCHISTAN: Enforced disappearances continue to escalate in Balochistan, as two separate incidents of abduction by Pakistani security forces were reported this week. The latest cases involve four men, two from Dera Bugti and two from Kech, who have been taken into custody by security personnel and moved to undisclosed locations.

On the night of November 26, 2025, two young brothers, Sata Din Bugti and Fazal Din Bugti sons of Piral Bugti, were reportedly abducted by officials of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) from their home in the Mutt area of Sui, district Dera Bugti.

According to family members, the brothers were arrested by CTD personnel and then transferred to an unknown location. The families have expressed grave concern, as they have received no information on their whereabouts since the incident.

The families of the two men have approached the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), filing a complaint and seeking assistance in finding their loved ones.

Meanwhile, in the Kech district of Balochistan, Yasir son of Nematullah and Sanaaullah son of Din Mohammad, have also been reported missing after their detention by Pakistani forces.

According to family sources, Yasir was taken from his home approximately ten days ago, while Sanaaullah was arrested at the Talar checkpoint on the same day.

Sanaaullah’s family reported that he had travelled to Karachi for medical treatment and was returning home when he was detained by security forces.

Since the arrests, both families have been left in the dark about the fate of their loved ones.

The increasing number of disappearances in Balochistan has led to widespread concerns over human rights abuses in the region. The families of the disappeared individuals have voiced their distress over the lack of information and the apparent impunity with which Pakistani security forces operate in Balochistan.
