Balochistan: Women resident of Turbat Demand Recovery of Missing Students Relatives

SHAAL, BALOCHISTAN: Women from Turbat Shapuk held a press conference at the Turbat Press Club on Tuesday, stating that on August 28 their five children were taken together from the Essa Nagri area of Quetta, and that to this day there has been no information about their whereabouts.

They reported that the boys disappeared from Quetta are Shah Baik son of Master Aslam, Qadeer son of Lallah, Akram son of Master Taqseer, Qadeer son of Phulen and Muhammad Yaseen son of Muskan, while Saddam son of Mehrab had been taken earlier in July from the Jusak area.

The women said they have met repeatedly with the Deputy Commissioner, the Commissioner, and other relevant officials and have conveyed their grievances, but even after four months no information has been provided about the recovery or condition of their children.

They added that their children are students who were studying in Quetta. “We are exhausted from continuous protests. If our children are not recovered within three days, we will be forced to block Educational Chowk, Commissioner Road, and other major routes,” they warned.
