Balochistan: Five Bodies Recovered in Separate Incidents in Various Regions
SHALL, BALOCHISTAN: Bodies of five individuals were recovered from different areas of Balochistan in separate incidents, according to police and local sources. The cases were reported in the districts of Panjgur, Kalat and Khuzdar.
In Panjgur district’s Prom region, the tortured body of a man was discovered in the Pulabad area. He was identified as Abdul Wahab son of Abdul Hakeem, a resident of Zamran in Turbat.
Local sources said Abdul Wahab, aged 33, had been abducted on 27 October 2025, by members of a government-supported armed group referred to as the “death squad.” He was reportedly shot during the abduction, which left his leg paralysed. After remaining missing for a month, his body was recovered on Tuesday.
The BYC in post on their official Facebook paged said that Wahab belonged to a poor family and worked as a driver to support his household. After a full month of enforced disappearance, on 04 December 2025, his bullet-riddled body was discovered.
The group added, “the continuation of extrajudicial killings and enforced disappearances reflects the expanding pattern of the “kill and dump” policy and escalating state violence carried out by Pakistani intelligence agencies and their sponsored militia groups.”
In another incident, three bodies were found in the Badrang area of Khaliqabad in district Kalat Balochistan. Police shifted the bodies to a local hospital, where identification cards recovered from their pockets revealed their names as Khuda Bakhsh of Johan, Zahoor Ahmed of Khaliqabad and Barkat Khan of Kashan.
Sources said all three belonged to the Lehri tribe and were cousins. Police have begun further investigation into the case.
Separately, in Zehri town of Khuzdar district, the body of a young man was discovered by the roadside near the local football ground. Initial reports indicated that he had been shot dead. The deceased was identified as Shahzaib son of Muhammad Aslam, from the Mullazai tribe and a resident of Sadiqabad in Zehri City.
The body was moved to a hospital for identification and completion of legal formalities.
