Pakistani Security Personnel Killed in Mangochar Attack, BLA Claims Responsibility

MANGOCHAR, Balochistan: One Pakistani security personnel was killed and two others were injured on February 1 following an attack on security forces in the Mangochar area of Kalat district, in Balochistan, according to a statement issued by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).

In a statement released to the media, BLA spokesperson Azad Baloch said that the group’s fighters targeted Pakistani forces stationed at a checkpoint in the Mir Haji area of Mangochar. He claimed the attack was carried out from multiple directions while the forces were engaged in routine checking operations.

The spokesperson added that the Baloch Liberation Army accepts responsibility for the attack.
