Military offensives reported in Dera Bugti

The central spokesperson of Baloch Republican Party Sher Mohammad Bugti in a tweet on X (formerly Twitter) said that Pakistan Army initiated a massive operation in Sui Town, Dera Bugti District.

He added, ‘Hundreds of troops, over forty military vehicles are deployed in Sonhari Matt, Sardar Patti, Dilbar Matt, and Zarani areas. The operation includes house-to-house raids.’

Sources said that military offensive and bombardment are leading to displacements and large-scale damage to houses.

Several animals have also reportedly been killed due to Pakistani forces bombardment.

Dera Bugti has been under continuous military offensives and repression since military dictator General Musharraf declared war on Balochistan leading to the murder of Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Bugti, the head of the Bugti Tribe in Balochistan.
