Balochistan: BLA Takes Responsibility for Ongoing Attacks in Kalat, 17 Enemy Personnel Killed, Battle Continues
QUETTA: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for a series of ongoing attacks in Kalat, Balochistan, where intense fighting continues between Baloch fighters and Pakistani military forces.
According to a statement from BLA spokesperson Azad Baloch, the group has surrounded the Mangocher military garrison and made significant progress in their offensive.
So far, BLA fighters have successfully gained control of key highways in the region, with the battle for Mangocher military camp reaching critical levels.
The BLA has reported the death of 17 enemy personnel in the clashes, although the fighting remains fierce. The spokesperson confirmed that more Baloch fighters have joined the battle to support their comrades, bolstering their position and increasing the scale of the operations.
“We have achieved substantial success in our operations, with more than half of the Mangocher military camp now under our control,” Azad Baloch stated. “Our fighters have seized heavy weaponry from the camp and destroyed two armoured vehicles, inflicting both personnel and financial losses on the enemy.”
The situation in Kalat continues to escalate, with military support from Pakistani forces arriving in the form of gunship helicopters.
However, BLA fighters have reportedly targeted these helicopters with rockets and other long-range weapons, continuing to engage the enemy from various fronts. The group also warned local residents to avoid travelling on the highways in Kalat, as many are currently under BLA control.
In addition to military engagements, BLA fighters have reportedly set fire to the Habib Bank in Mongchar. This act is seen as part of the group’s ongoing efforts to disrupt the military’s operations and logistics.
Despite the significant losses inflicted on Pakistani forces, the battle remains unresolved as BLA fighters continue to hold strategic positions and push for further gains. The group has said they will provide more updates as the situation unfolds.
