Pakistan Military Offensives: Punjabi Army Will Not Succeed in Balochistan
Balochistan: One killed, four abducted in Tump offensive
QUETTA: Pakistani forces raided Malek Abad region of Tump in district Kech on Monday morning and opened indiscriminate firing at residents killing at least one person.
Sources reported that Pakistani forces harassed and beaten up women and children during the offensive. The Pakistan FC and army carried out the joint raids and looted houses of residents.
At least one Baloch youth named, Sattar son of Dr Mohammad Baloch, was killed during the firing of Pakistani forces. The deceased was a resident of Kadhan Dasht, Balochistan.
The Pakistani forces also abducted another four youth from Tump. Three of whom have been identified as Shehzad son of Qayum, Iqbal Baloch and Dilmurad son of Qadir Dad.
The abducted men during today’s offensives have been taken to a nearby by Frontier Corps (FC) base and were being held until the filing of this report.
Previously, On 29 July 2017, security forces abducted Sajid Murad from his house in Shapuk district Kech, Balochistan. Mr Murad who works in UAE had returned home few days before his abduction to attend the funeral of his mother. Also, on the same day security forces abducted Mohammad Adam resident of Ahori district Awaran, Balochistan.
On 30 July 2017, Pakistani forces abducted a Baloch teacher, Bahad Nazir, from Nizarabad area of Tump. His family members had staged a sit-in protest in front army camp for his recovery but to no avail. The Baloch teachers whereabout remain unknown.
On 31 July 2017, Pakistan forces abducted Hanif Faqir, a resident of Hoshab district Kech whose whereabout is also not known since his abduction.
It is worth mentioning that four Baloch youth, including two brothers, Shakir Shad Yar Mohammad and Hasil Yar Mohammad, Sadiq Soben, residents of Kenechi Kolwah and Majid Razai resident of Kolwahi Bazar Apsor, Turbat district Kech were killed in Kolwah area of Awaran on Saturday.
