Balochistan: Four abducted during military offensives in Kohlu
QUETTA: Pakistani forces have carried military offensives in Nisao area of district Kohlu Balochistan on two constitutive days on Friday and Saturday.
According to details, Pakistan army and Para-military forces conducted offensives attacks against Marri Baloch farmers, nomads and other innocent villagers in Kohlu’s Nisao, Barayli, Batakadi, Kujja and surrounding areas for two consecutive days.
The Pakistani forces also carried out shelling in the region and raided the houses of Baloch villagers. No casualties have been reported so far.
However, at least four people have been arrested and taken to unknown locations. The victims include Kaka son of Wali Mohammad Marri, two sons of Mohammad Ali Marri [whose names could not be ascertained] and 80-year-old Bahar Khan Marri Baloch.
Pakistani forces also snatched and took away two tractors and two motorcycles of Baloch farmers during these latest offensives and raids on houses of Haji Hauran Marri and Mitha Khan Marri.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistani forces routinely carry out offensives in different districts of Balochistan from Kohistan Marri region to Quetta, Gwadar, Awaran and other areas with brief intervals.
