Balochistan: One Pakistani soldier killed in landmine blast another wounded

QUETTA: At least one Pakistani soldier was killed and another wounded in landmine blast near Balochistan’s Sibbi district on Friday 3rd April.

According to details, the soldiers were going to fetch water when they stepped on the land mine in Kalgari mountain region in Kohistan Marri.

Meanwhile, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) through a media statement has accepted responsibility for the attack.

The BLA spokesperson Azad Baloch said Baloch freedom fighters have planted the mines near the security teams of oil and gas exploration companies.

he added, ‘these companies are involved in loot and plunder of Balochistan’s national resources.’

Baloch said BLA fighter planted the mine between Pakistani security forces check post and their water reservoir and the organisation accept responsibility for this attack.
