Balochistan: Pakistani forces continue unlawful arrests amid COVID 19

QUETTA: Pakistani army and intelligence agencies continue Human Rights violations in Balochistan despite the spread of Covid-19 across Balochistan. Dozens of people have been abducted during military offensives in the past few days in different areas and shifted to unknown locations.

According to details, on late Thursday night, Pakistani forces carried out offensives in Maheer area of Mand in district Kech Balochistan and abducted two Baloch youth named Javed son of Ayoub and Najeeb son of Bairi.

In another similar offensive raid in Baloch Abad area of Mand, Pakistani forces abducted four people during an out a house-to-house search. The abducted men have been identified as Lateef son of Haji Adam, Hassan son of Hamid, Majid son of Hussain and Javed son of Gwahram.

Javed has been reportedly abducted from a mosque where he was reading his prayer.

Naseem son Asumi has been also been abducted from Dan area of Menaz in Buleda and 17-year-old Asadullah son of master Abdullah from Tump Malik Abad area of district Kech.

In another similar offensive, the Pakistani army and ISI personnel raided the mosque during Iftar in Panwan area of the coastal city of Jwani on Wednesday evening and abducted a man named Sadiq son of Muhammad Ismail.

It may be recalled that Mohammad Sadiq and his brother Adil had been abducted earlier by the occupying state army as well but they were released later. Now the Pakistani forces have abducted Sadiq once again.

According to sources, a few days ago, the Pakistani army raided a house in the same area and abducted Yasir son of Pir Muhammad, who was later released the next day, after severe torture.

About two months ago, Taj Baloch son of Han Mohammad resident of Bundi area of Jiwani and 17-year-old Asif son of Rahim Bakhsh, residents of Rubar, were forcibly abducted by the Pakistani army and shifted to military torture chambers, their whereabouts remains unknown to this day.

Source reported that Pakistani army intensified its brutalities in Gwadar and Jiwani region since the wall chalking in the city about a month and a half ago, the Pakistani army continues its barbarism in Dashti Bazaar, Kosar Bazaar, Robar, Bandi, Panwan and many other areas of Jiwani.

On Tuesday, Pakistani forces arrested three persons from Mand and shifted them to an unknown location.

The victims have been named as Tangai son of Hashim, Nazeer son of Doda and Wali Mohammad son of Doda.

Among them, 5-year-old Tangai was arrested twice before by Pakistani force but later he was released. Now he has been abducted for the third time.

It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan force has already disappeared and killed his son Izzat Baloch in custody.
