QUETTA:  The Bramsh Baloch Solidarity Committee is now shaping into a political movement for social justice under which a never-ending series of protests has spread across Balochistan.

On Sunday, public protest rallies were held in many cities of Balochistan Kohlu, Winder Besima and Taunsa Sharif.

According to details from Besima, the rally started from Government Boys High School Besima, passing through various streets and stopped at the main square of Besima Bazaar where the participants held a huge demonstration and organiser spoke about the aim of the protest.

The speakers said that Besima raises voice for any social issue that is collectively detrimental to the Baloch nation. The occurrence of such incidents is nothing short of a tragedy. This is an inhuman and shameful act that the thieves and criminals have adopted.

It is an unforgivable crime according to Baloch traditions and values, and also from the Islamic point of view.

“This problem is not limited to Dannuk, every area of ​​Balochistan is affected by such heinous acts. Such incidents have taken place in many other areas of Balochistan on several occasions.

“A month ago, five people, including three women, were injured when thieves attacked their house and its sanctity was violated by criminals supported by the oppressor.

“The Dannuk tragedy reflects and echoes the voice of every affected family who has been affected oppressors who have been supported by the state during different periods,” speakers said.

The protester also said that the longer people remain silent against such crimes, the more will increase and take root.

The participants of the protests demanded, “All criminal activities, including the Dannuk tragedy, are being carried out with the backing and support of influential people must end immediately.”

They urged every Baloch with conscience and human feeling should raise their voice against Dannuk incident, and consider the collective problems of the Baloch nation as their own problem.

In Kohlu, the protesters have chanted slogans against killing of Malik Naz and wounding her four-year-old daughter Bramsh Baloch.

They said it was unacceptable that one raises voice for Kashmir but ignores Balochistan. People must break their silence and speak up for Balochistan where criminals have created chaos and panic for long enough.

In Taunsa Sharif also the protesters demanded Justice for Bramsh Baloch and urged that the killers of Malik Naz Baloch and their facilitators must be given exemplary punishments.
