DOZZAAP (Zahedan): One of the famous Baloch artists passed away in Dozzaap (Zahedan) city the capital of Iranian Occupied Balochistan on 23 July 2020.

According to details,  Rasool Bakhsh Zangishahi, one of the master artists of Balochistan, has been battling illness in recent years due to which he could no longer play the ‘SUROZ’ a bowed string Balochi musical instrument with a long neck.

He was invited to music concerts in several countries where he played the SUROZ to introduce Balochi music to the international audience.

Late, Rasool Bakhsh was one of the artists who had a special skill in playing the Balochi musical instrument of SUROZ.

His interest and love for the homeland [Balochistan] and art was praised by the entire Baloch nation.

We at BalochWarna News extend our condolences to his family and entire Balochistan, especially the Baloch artists’ community.

We hope the next generations of Baloch artists will continue the legacy of Rasool Bakhsh Zangishahi and other artists who are not among us anymore.
