Balochistan: Pakistan Military Collaborator’s Hideout Attacked in Kharan
Balochistan: Baloch IDP abducted from Karachi and killed by Pakistani forces
QUETTA: Sindh Rangers and Pakistani intelligence agencies have abducted a Baloch IDP (Internally Displaced Person) from Karachi’s Memon Goth area on Saturday evening (15 August 2020).
The next morning (Sunday) his dead body was found in the Nooriabad area of Jamshoro district in Sindh, 94 kilometers from Karachi.
The victim has been named a Khan Mohammad Bugti son of Mohammad Ali Bugti who had to leave Dera Bugti in 2006 after Pakistani armed forces started offensives against Baloch people in Kohlu, Dera Bugti and several other areas of Balochistan.
Meanwhile, Sher Muhammad Bugti, the spokesman of the Baloch Republican Party (BRP), said in a statement to the media that Khan Muhammad Bugti son of Muhammad Ali Bugti, a resident of Memon Goth area of Karachi, was arrested by Pakistani intelligence and killed in custody.
The spokesman said that Khan Muhammad Bugti had been living as a refugee in different parts of Sindh after he fled Dera Bugti in 2006 due to continuous military operations. He was abducted in 2012 by state intelligence and released seven years later in January 2019.
Sher Muhammad Bugti said that this was not the first attack on Bugti refugees in Punjab and Sindh.
Earlier, Pakistani intelligence personnel from different cities of Sindh and Punjab had forcibly disappeared and martyred dozens of Baloch refugees.
The spokesman further said that the massacre of Baloch refugees from Balochistan to Sindh and Punjab has been intensified.
One day before Eid, on July 31, five members of the Bugti tribe were martyred in a fake encounter in Rajanpur, while on August 5, two brothers belonging to the Marri tribe were abducted by intelligence personnel from Mesali area in Khairpur district, Sindh.
“The silence of human rights organizations on the genocide of the Baloch nation has raised our fears that other missing Baloch will be in similar staged encounters and their bodies dumped,” he said.
