 Balochistan: 14 Baloch including four previously missing youth killed, another 35 abducted

The Pakistani FC and paramilitary forces continue their offensives in different areas including Quetta, the capital city of Balochistan. Baloch media sources confirmed that bodies of 14 Baloch including four previously missing persons were found in Kalat and Panjgur, and at least 35 people of Quetta, Balochistan on Tuesday.

According to details the tortured and bullet wounded bodies of Salim Umeth, Nadil Raheem Bakhsh and Saddam Ghafoor were found in Panjgur on June, 1, 2015.

Salim Umeth was abducted on 23 December, 2014 from Chitkaan area of Panjgur whereas Saddam and Nadil were abducted end of May, 2015 from Parome area of Panjgur. All the three victims are cousins.

Pakistani security forces claimed to have killed them in an encounter but relative and Baloch media sources confirmed that they were already in the custody of Pakistani forces hence they were killed in custody.

A spokesperson of FC told Pakistani media that at least 13 suspected militants were killed and four people, including two security personnel, injured in ‘gun battles’ during search operations launched by security forces in Kalat and Panjgur districts on Monday.

The names of other victims, killed in military operation, could not be confirmed immediately. However, the local sources say that most of the men were arrested and then shot dead in close range.

Pakistani forces are still conducting operations in different areas of Mastung, Morgan and Harboi areas of Kalat, Balochistan.

Separately, Pakistan forces conducted raided in Killi Ismael area of Quetta and abducted at least 35 people. The whereabouts of the abducted men was unknown until the filing of this report.
