 Balochistan: Five abducted after a senior official of FC wounded in Kech attack

QUETTA:  Unknown armed persons attacked a convoy of Frontier Corps in Zarren Bug area of Dasht Balochistan which resulted in wounding a Niab Subedar (Deputy Satrap) of FC on Friday evening.

According to details the FC’s 125 Wing and Special Operation Wing convoy was passing in Jan Mohammad Bazar area of Zarren Bug when it came under intense and sudden firing by unknown attackers.

At least one Niab Subedar, Ghulam Mohammad, has been wounded when a bullet hit him on his left shoulder.  The injured official was transfer to District Headquarter hospital Turbat after giving him first aid at Zarren Bug FC check post.

The FC has started indiscriminately attacking the local populations after the attack on its convoy.

Baloch social media sources reported that Pakistani FC and intelligence agencies have abducted at least five people during a mid-night raid from Jan Mohammad Bazar in Dasht Balochistan.

The victims have been named as Sanaullah, Shaho, Rashid, Waleed and Jaber. The whereabouts of the victims remain unknown until the filing of this report.

The FC and para-military attacks also reportedly continue in different region of Dasht.
