QUETTA: Pakistani forces have been conducting raids and carrying out attacks against Baloch villagers in Dera Bugti and parts of Kohistan Marri since the end of January which resulted in killing at least four people and abduction of dozens including women and children.
Per details, the Pakistan army, FC, and intelligence agencies along with their local collaborators have started fresh military offensives on 30 January which continue with great intensity.
So far four people have been killed. Two of the victims have been identified as villagers named Momil Bugti and Sanaho Bugti.
The BRP media cell has reported, “six motorbikes, several cattle of locals were also taken away by forces from Pasheni during operation.”
Separately, an 80-year-old Baloch named Misk Ali son of Sabz Ali Bugti’s dead body was found in a cave in Suhri Darbar area of Dera Bugti Balochistan on Wednesday.
Local sources say that Mr Bugti was a Balochi language poet. He composed poems in praise of Baloch freedom struggle and strongly criticised those who surrendered to Pakistan army.
“It is obvious he was killed by Pakistan forces with help of its local death squads. As Misk Ali was naming and shaming those who gave up the freedom struggle in return of few thousand Rupees and other incentives,” a social media activist from Dera Bugti told Balochwarna News.
Earlier Pakistani forces abducted seven families including the family of Shalo Bugti, Meradi Bugti and Noor Khan Marri along with women and children during attacks in Bambor and Godi areas of Dera Bugti and Kohistan Marri.
Since the end of last year, the Pakistan forces have intensified the abduction of the female members of Baloch pro-freedom activists in its effort to coerce the pro-liberation Baloch men to give up the struggle.
Baloch pro-freedom leaders, activists and parties say that abduction of women and children shows Pakistan’s moral and phycological defeat as it has failed to defeat the Baloch freedom struggle hence now it is taking out its frustration against innocent women and children.
