 Balochistan: Pakistani forces torture victim succumb his wound in Turbat hospital

QUETTA: A previously abducted Baloch youth has succumbed to his wounds on 13 October 2018 in a hospital in Turbat Balochistan after brutal torture by Pakistani security.

According to details, Pakistani forces abducted two Baloch youth on 21 September 2018 from Teerandask area of Dasht in district Kech Balochistan during a raid on their home.

One of the victims Wahid son of Omar was shifted to Turbat hospital on 12 October 2018 in half-dead condition suffering immense pain in his kidneys and rest of his body.

Hospital sources reported that he was subjected to inhuman and brutal torture – as there were torture marks on his body – due which his kidneys stop functioning and died in hospital on Saturday (13 October).

The other youth is still in the custody of Pakistani forces and his family has expressed concerns about his well being.

It’s pertinent to mention that several previously abducted Baloch have died in custody of Pakistani forces because of severe and inhuman torture.

Other state torture victims and residents of Dasht include Hanif son of Nabi Bakhsh resident of Kuros Tank, Nazeer son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Peero Tank Dasht, Haneef son of Omar resident of Teeran Desk Dasht.

Whereas a few months ago Dr Allah Baksh son of Dost Mohammad resident of Machat Negwar Dasht died of heart attack during Pakistani forces attempt to abducted Baloch women and children.

Baloch pro-freedom parties and Human Rights groups complain that the number of enforced-disappearances continue to increase in Balochistan.

The Pakistani security forces including – FC, Army, and ISI, MI – continue their brutalities unabated across Balochistan and killed several people in custody and during unlawful military offensives.
