 Balochistan: Enforced-disappearances continue unabated

QUETTA: The Pakistani FC and intelligence agencies carried joint offensives in Mashky region of district Awaran and abducted at least nine people on Friday morning.

According to details, Pakistan forces started fresh military offensives in several areas of district Awaran including Peerandar, Zeyarat Dan, Zelagh, Kuch, Azum Goath, Grahi, Gazzi, Dahl Bedi and other regions on 18 April.

On Friday 26 of April, the force conducted offensives in Tank area of Mashky in Awaran and forcibly disappeared at least nine people. The victims have been named as Naseer son of Khan Mohammad, Musharraf son of Naseer, Khan Mohammad son of Baghi, Gulab son of Sohrab, Bahram son of Ali Jan, Neksal son of Jumma, Mohammad Umar, Gulab son of Mohammad Umar and Rustum.

Sources reported that Khan Mohammad son of Baghi is an aged man and he can hardly walk. In 2012 the Pakistan forces killed seven members of his family when the used gunship helicopters to shell his house.

TwoStudents Earlier on 19 and 24 April Pakistani forces abducted two Baloch students from district Harnai and district Kech Balochistan respectively.

According to details on 24 April, Pakistan intelligence agencies abducted Baloch student Raziq son of Abdullah from Turbat headquarter of district Kech Balochistan.

Raziq is a gold medallist and recently passed his Master Degree from the University of Balochistan Quetta. Currently, he is doing MPhil. He is a resident of Geshkor area in Awaran.

Sources reported that previously Pakistani forces burnt down his house and destroyed his business in Kolwah due which he had migrated to district Kech Balochistan.

Whereas on 19 April Pakistani forces whisked away Sheroz Baloch son of Mohammad Akbar from district Harnai Balochistan. Mr Baloch 21 is a resident of Mastung Balochistan.
