 Balochistan: Several people including women and children killed in Dera Bugti operation

QUETTA: At least ten people including women and children have been killed in military offensives in different area of Dera Bugti Balochistan on Sunday.

According the details Pakistani forces sealed several localities of Dera Bugti including Pelawagh and Marav area and indiscriminately bombed civilian population.

Three people were killed when the house of Lala Khan Bugti was attacked. The victims included aged mother of Lal Khan, his wife and his daughter. Several other people were also reportedly wounded during military attacks.

Pakistani ground forces backed by gunship helicopters also conducted attacks in Pashaini, Kaleri, Takro, Siyatank and other surrounding areas.

In a statement to media the central spokesperson Baloch Republican Party, Mr Sher Mohammad Bugti, said that there were reported about casualties in other region but these reports could not be immediately confirmed because the affected areas remained under the military siege.

The Baloch social media activists reported that at least 26 people were abducted in a separate military attack from Gandao region of Dera Bugti.

Some of the victim’s identity was confirmed by BRP’s official webpage as Manzoor Bugti son of Laghri Bugti, Ganja Bugti son of Lagri Bugti along with three women and five children from their family, Wasu Bugti son of Tawakal Bugti along with his four women and five children; Umaid Ali Bugti son of Murad Bugti along with two women and three children.
