Balochistan: Two girls school set on fire in Pishin

QUETTA: Two girls’ schools have been set ablaze in Balochistan’s district Pishin said on Tuesday evening.

The schools were set on fire late on Tuesday when the institutes were closed as they were both day schools. Hence no casualty was reported.

Local authorities said some unknown persons set the buildings ablaze and fled the scene.

No group or person has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

This is the second major incident of fire at an educational institution over the last few days.

Earlier on Friday, some unknown assailants set 12 schools on fire in north Gilgit Baltistan area.
