Germany: The FBM to organise Martyrs Day event in Bielefeld University
BIELEFELD: The Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) has announced to organise a ‘Baloch Martyrs Day’ event on 13 November 2018 in Bielefeld Germany.
In a press statement, Hyrbyair Marri led; FBM said that on 13 November a remembrance event will be held in Bielefeld University in the afternoon from 2:30 – 5:00 pm.
The Baloch nation has been commemorating 13 November as ‘National Remembrance Day – Baloch Martyrs Day’ from past many years. This day’s significance goes back to 13 November 1839 when the British forces attacked Balochistan and killed the Baloch ruler Mir Mehrab Khan Baloch and his comrades.
The British then occupied and divided Balochistan into three parts by drawing arbitrary Gold Smith and Durand Lines which the Baloch nation never accepted as international borders and continued their struggle to regain independence of united Balochistan.
Thousands of Baloch men, women, youth and elderly have sacrificed their lives in defence of their motherland Balochistan and to resist against foreign occupation of their land.
The Baloch have fought against Arabs, Mughals, Mongols, Portuguese and British invading forces and defended their country.
Currently, the Baloch nation is struggling against Iran and Pakistan’s illegal occupation of Balochistan – which occupied the Baloch sovereign country in 1928 and 1948 respectively.
Whenever Balochistan was attacked or threatened by foreign invading forces the Baloch youth volunteered to defend their motherland and never hesitated from any sacrifice.
The Baloch Martyrs Day – 13 November has been adapted to pay tributes to all Baloch martyrs equally and to renew the pledge to continue their mission of free Balochistan.
The FBM statement said that today if the Baloch struggle has gained international recognition and the Baloch nation has many well-wishers that are due to the sacrifices of Baloch martyrs.
‘dividing Baloch martyrs in different ranks is an insult to the struggle of Baloch martyrs who sacrificed their lives for upcoming Baloch generations and freedom of Balochistan. They are equal and they will all be remembered on 13 November as our national heroes.’
