 Balochistan: Pakistani security forces truck damaged in IED attack, several soldiers killed

QUETTA:  Pakistani forces have been carrying out offensives in district Kohlu’s Kahan and the surrounding region from past several days.

According to details, the forces conducted offensives in Kahan’s Baraili, Makhmad, Sohren Kaor and Sekhain regions, looted and set on fire the huts of several residents.

On Thursday (13 December) when the Pakistani forces were on their way back after an aggression against civilians, one of their truck hit by a landmine killing and injuring most soldiers onboard.

Meanwhile, Azad Baloch, the spokesperson of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has accepted responsibility for the IED attack.

He said, ‘our fighters targeted a Pakistan military convoy in Sohren Kaor Baraili region with a remote-controlled device. As a result of the explosion, the majority of the soldiers onboard were killed and wounded.’

Mr Baloch accepted the responsibility of the attack on behalf of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).

It is pertinent to mention that Pakistani forces have abducted at least three Marri Baloch from Makhmad area on Tuesday whose whereabouts remain unknown.
