Balochistan:  BLA accepts responsibility of attack on Pakistani forces check post in Kohlu

QUETTA: Armed men attacked a check post of Pakistani forces with automatic weapons in district Kohlu Balochistan on Friday.

According to details, Baloch freedom fighters have attacked a check post of Pakistan Para-military forces at a water resource in Soren Kaor area of Chappi Kach in Kahan Balochistan.

Sources reported that Pakistani troops have recently erected several new check posts in several areas in Kohlu which include guarding the water resources to prevent the residents from using them.

Meanwhile, the Baloch Liberation Army spokesperson, Azad Baloch, informed media from an undisclosed location that BLA fighters attacked the check post.

Balochistan local media quoted Mr Azad Baloch as saying that several Pakistani troops were killed and wounded in the attack by BLA fighters.

He also said that Pakistani forces have been carrying out offensives in the region from past one month and ‘some local people are also complicit with Pakistani forces in their offensives,’ he added.

The BLA spokesperson has warned the local ‘collaborators’ not to become part of Pakistani forces’ genocidal acts against Baloch people in Balochistan.
