 Balochistan: Iranian Navy kills two Baloch fishermen, confiscates several boats

DOZZAAP (Zahedan): Two Baloch fishermen have been killed in an attack by the Iranian navy personnel at 11 am, Monday in Sirik region of Iranian Occupied Balochistan.

The two killed Baloch Helmsman were named as Mohammad Mallahi son Essa and Faridon Mallahi.

Sources told Balochwarna News that other fishermen on board have been arrested and transferred to Bandar Kouhestak central prison.

After the extrajudicial killing of two Baloch fishermen by Iranian navy personnel, the people of Bandar Kohali region gathered in front of the hospital and started protesting against the state atrocities.

The Iranian police reached the spot and started firing to disperse the protesters; unconfirmed reports say that several protesters have been wounded to the Iranian forces direct firing.

Kolahi It is worth mentioning that the population Bandar Kohali, Minab, Sirik and the adjoining areas comprises of 99% Baloch.

Earlier on Sunday Morning, the IRGC personnel attacked the boats of poor Baloch fishermen on the shores of Kargan port and Balochistan Ocean seizing several boats and arresting sailors.

According to the details, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) attacked the Kargan port in Bandar Abbas area when the poor Baloch fishermen were anchoring their boats on the beach.

The Iranian forces burned several boats, arrested poor fishermen, confiscated several other boats parked on the shore during Sunday’s unprovoked attack.

The arrested fishermen were shifted to Bandar Abbas Central Jail.

Local sources said that it was a joined offensive by Iranian Navy and the IRCG; no casualties were reported during this attack.
