Balochistan: Pakistani security forces check post attacked in Barkhan

QUETTA: Armed men attacked a check post of Pakistan forces in Barely area of district Barkhan, Balochistan on June 13, 2020, Saturday afternoon.
According to details, in Bareilly area of Barkhan district of armed men attacked a Pakistan forces check post near the Pakistan military garrison with RPGs rockets, LMG machineguns and other automatic weapons.
Sources from the adjacent reported that the attack lasted for half an hour. Initial reports suggested that at least five personnel of Pakistani forces were killed and six other wounded Barely attack.
The Pakistani forces from the garrison retaliated and fired back at the attackers but they succeeded in fleeing the scene unharmed.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack so far, however, in the past, the Baloch Sarmachars (freedom fighters) have claimed responsibility for similar attacks on Pakistani troops across Balochistan.
