Balochistan: BLA accepts responsibility for attack on Pakistani forces in Barkhan

QUETTA: Azad Baloch, the spokesman for the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), in a statement to media has accepted the responsibility of an attack on Pakistani security forces check post in Barkhan the other day.

According to details on June 13 armed men have attacked check post of Pakistani forces near a military garrison of Pakistan army in Barely area of district Barkhan, Balochistan leaving at least five Pakistani soldiers dead and six other wounded.

The BLA spokesperson confirming the attack and casualties to Pakistani forces said its fighters have used RPGs and other automatic weapons during the attack.

“The Pakistani forces retaliated and fire mortars at us but our freedom fighters have successfully returned to their basis after the attack,” Azad Baloch said.

Mr Baloch accepted responsibility for the attack on Pakistani forces in Barely, Barkhan and vowed to continue such ambushes against Pakistani forces in future.

He added, “with support and cooperation of Baloch nation, our armed attacks against Pakistani forces will continue till the freedom of Baloch land.”
