The Netherlands: Bramsh Baloch Solidarity Committee holds demonstration
AMSTERDAM: A demonstration was held in Amsterdam, Netherlands under the auspices of the Bramsh [Baloch] Solidarity Committee to demand justice for Malik Naz Baloch killed on May 26 and her injured daughter Bramsh Baloch.
According to details, a large number of people participated in a demonstration on Monday and chanted slogans against the state-sponsored death squad and the state [Pakistan].
Protesters also held placards with slogans calling for justice for Baloch women, and end to state-sponsored death squads operating under the patronage of the Pakistani army.
The protesters demanded that international human rights organisations should raise their voices against Pakistan’s state brutalities in Balochistan.
Describing Balochistan as the ‘killing field of Pakistan army’ the protesters said that state-backed death squads operatives killed Malik Naz Baloch in Dannuk are of Turbat and wound her daughter Bramsh on 26th of May.
Again on Monday night, they killed another Baloch woman named Kulsoom Baloch in Dazen area of Tump in the same district of Balochistan.
“We know this is being done under state auspices,” the protesters adding that, “Civilized human rights organisations should take note of this and hold the state of Pakistan to account for the Baloch genocide.”
The speakers at the Netherlands protest said that the Baloch nation must now unite and raise its voice against this oppression.
“The longer we spend raising our voices, the more we will suffer and the more of our people will be killed.”
Local people of the Netherlands also participated in the demonstration and expressed solidarity with the Baloch nation.
Pamphlets were distributed at the demonstration to inform the people about the state repression in Balochistan.
