Balochistan: Iran’s Intelligence Department arrests a Baloch youth in Geh city

DOZZAAP (Zahedan): The Iranian intelligence Department (Itla’at) has arrested a Baloch youth from the city of Geh (Nikshahr in Iranian Occupied Balochistan (IOB) on Sunday morning August 2, 2020.

According to details, on Saturday, August 1, 2020, the Intelligence Department of Iran (Itela’at) phoned Khoda Bakhsh Balar son of Ibrahim, a resident of Talang village in Qasar Qand region of Balochistan and summoned him to their center (Nikshahr) Geh city.

“On Sunday, August 2nd when Khoda Bakhsh visited the center of intelligence and his phone has been switched off since. It is feared that the intelligence agencies arrested him,” Rasank News reported.

His whereabouts remained unknown at the time of filing of this report.  

Khoda Bakhsh is a young Baloch fisherman who used to earn his living at Balochistan’s seashore but has been unemployed for a while and staying at home due to an accident.

His family has not been informed about the reasons for his arrested nor do they know about his whereabouts since Sunday 2nd of August, 2020.
