Balochistan: Two Baloch fighters killed in a gun battle with Pakistani forces

QUETTA: Two Baloch freedom fighters lost their lives and one state informer was killed in a battle against Pakistani forces and their collaborators in the Mazanband area of Turbat in district Kech Balochistan.

Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) in a statement to media named its ‘martyred’ members as  Irfan and Noor Khan Baloch whereas the state informer has been named Munir Ahmad son of Abdul Rasheed resident of Tump, Balochistan.

The spokesperson of the Baloch Liberation Front, Gwahram Baloch, said that Irfan alias Imdad son of Shaheed Ghulam Mustafa was a resident of Konsh Kalat and Noor Khan alias Barmash son of Noor Bakhsh was a resident of Khairabad.

Gwahram further said that gunship helicopters along with Pakistani ground forces carried out barbarism in the mountain range of Maznband while SSG commandos were also landed.

“The martyred [Baloch] soldiers fought valiantly against the enemy in the areas of Saidan Peer and Gandhadar, killing more than fifteen personnel of the occupying Pakistani army and injuring many more,” the BLF spokesperson claimed in his statement.

He also claimed that both fighters defeated the enemy army many times on the battlefield. He paid homage to the Baloch fighters and pledged that the revenge of Baloch martyrs will be taken in the shape of freedom of Balochistan.

However, the Pakistan media and ISPR sources only confirmed that the death of one of their informers and the two Baloch fighters.

The Baloch pro-freedom resistance organisation often claim to inflict heavy casualty on Pakistan forces and say that Pakistani media and military conceal the death of its soldiers in Balochistan in its effort to downplay the Balochistan freedom struggle.
