 Balochistan: BLA claimed to have killed 11 Pakistani troops in Sibbi

QUETTA The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in a statement to media said that its fighters have targeted a convoy of Pakistan army in Sangaan area of Sibbi Balochistan on Wednesday.

The Baloch pro-freedom resistance group’s spokesman Azad Baloch said, “Our fighter targeted a convoy of the Pakistani army in the Sangan area of ​​Bolan with a remote-controlled explosion which destroyed a vehicle of occupying army and killed 11 personnel on board.”

He said that BLA accepts responsibility for the attack.

He said the Pakistani forces convoy was on its way from Sangaan to Kit to carry out offensives in the region when the Sarmachars targeted it with a remote-controlled device. As a result of the powerful blast, at least 11 Pakistani soldiers died and many others have been wounded.

“After the attack, air support reached to the aid of the Pakistani army in which two gunship helicopters were deployed. However, after this successful attack, our freedom fighters safely reached back to their bases without any harm,” Azad Baloch’s statement read.

He also said that video footage of the attack will be released on BLA’s official website soon.

The BLA spokesman expressed the determination to continue such attacks till the freedom of Balochistan.
