LONDON: The Free Balochistan Moment UK Branch organized a one-day seminar in London on the occasion of Balochistan’s Independence Day on August 11, which was attended by a large number of Baloch living in the UK.

The seminar was addressed by Dr. Shahzavar Baloch, Deputy Chairman of Free Balochistan Movement.

In his address, Dr Baloch urged the youth that the time has come for the Baloch youth in the West to get higher education so that they can expose the slavery of Balochistan and the oppression of the Baloch nation to the world.

Addressing the seminar, Jamal Nasir Baloch, head of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Free Balochistan Movement, said that the aspiration and struggle of a nation for independence could not be suppressed by the division of a nation state and the complete abolition of the state.

He added that if today Balochistan is divided and its status as a state is abolished, we must remember that Poland in Europe was divided many times and its neighbors occupied it, but the Polish nation struggled and restored their independence and reunited their divided homeland.

Ismail Amiri, the leader of the Balochistan Raji Zarmbash from Iranian-occupied Balochistan in his speech stressed the fact that most Baloch liberation organizations share a common national identity, such as the national flag , Martyrs’ Day and Independence Day as well. That is a very positive political process for the liberation struggle of Balochistan.
