FBM protest in Germany against the Iranian occupation of Balochistan and ongoing killings

BERLIN: Free Balochistan Movement organized a protest in front of the Iranian Embassy in Berlin, Germany, against the occupation of Balochistan and the ongoing killings of Baloch people by Iran.

In addition to Free Balochistan Movement activists, pro-freedom Kurdish and Al-Ahwaz activists also participated in the protest to express their support for the Baloch struggle for freedom and ongoing peaceful protests in Iranian-Occupied Balochistan.

The protesters were holding up banners and placards with various slogans written on them.  The protesters continued to raise slogans against the Iranian occupation of Balochistan and the ongoing killings, human rights abuses and cultural restrictions of the occupied nations.

Khudadad Baloch, Mehmood Haqparast, Muhammad Faris, Fawaz Baloch, Abdul Wajid Baloch, Beebagr Baloch and Muhammad Bakhsh Raaji Baluch addressed the protestors.

In their address, the speakers shed light on the political and historical background of Balochistan and the situation in occupied Balochistan since its occupation.

They further said that Pakistan and Iran illegally occupied the Baloch homeland and are engaged in Baloch genocide but Free Balochistan Movement is trying to fulfil its national responsibility by organising protests and awareness campaigns to expose Iran and Pakistan’s brutalities against Baloch people.

“The FBM is trying to be the voice of the Baloch nation and represent their inspirations on an international level so that soon the Baloch nation can rid themselves of the foreign occupation and slavery.”

The speakers further said that given the current political situation in the region, it is important that we take advantage of this unfolding scenario by effectively presenting our historically occupied lands to the world powers.

As representatives of the national independence movement of Balochistan and the Baloch nation, it is our responsibility to be fully aware of the changing political situation in the region and the right decisions at the right time can bring us closer to our destination.

The speakers further said that November 11 is a dark chapter in the history of Balochistan as the British divided the Baloch land under the GoldSmid Line under its conspiratorial intentions and later Iran forcibly occupied it on 11 November 1928.

“We should not be oblivious to our history and unite and intensify resistance against this unjust, illegal and painful division and occupation of Balochistan as its the need of the hour.
