Balochistan: BLA accepts killing of nine Pakistani soldiers in Kohlu
QUETTA: Azad Baloch, the spokesperson of the Baloch Liberation Army, in a statement to the media on February 10, 2023, claimed that BLA fighters killed nine Pakistani soldiers including a Major and a Captain.
He said at 11 am, “our operatives targeted a convoy of Pakistani forces at Baryly in Kohlu with a remote-controlled explosive device.”
Azad Baloch said that a military vehicle was destroyed due to the blast and nine Pakistani forces personnel including Captain Sagheer and Major Jawad, were killed.
He said, “our organization Baloch Liberation Army accepts the responsibility of this attack.”
BLA spokesperson Azad Baloch said that our operatives targeted the Pakistani forces when they were going to Baryly from Kohlu to conduct offensives in the region.
The BLA spokesman said that after the attack, the enemy army closed the entry and exit routes in the area and shifted the dead army officers and personnel with the help of helicopters.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan army media wing ISPR confirming the attack said that Major Jawad and Captain Sagheer were killed in an IED blast during a so-called “Sanitisation Operation”.
