 Pakistani forces abduct social activist and four students

 BW Monitoring Desk:  The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) reported on X (formerly Twitter) that at least four Baloch students and social activists have been abducted from Taunsa Sharif and Dera Ghazi Khan late Friday night.

According to details,  social activities Zulfikar Baloch was whisked away from Taunsa on Friday morning whereas four students Sakim, Salman, Amir and Zubair were abducted during raids on hostels late Friday night.

All four students are originally from Balochistan’s Awaran, Turbat, Panjgur and Kalat regions.

 Baloch activists reported on Social Media that the Police’s Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), along with the Punjab Police conducted raids around 2 AM on Saturday at a hostel in Model Town and rounded up the students of Ghazi University.

The relatives of previously abducted Baloch, Social activists and members of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee are currently on a Long March toward Islamabad to highlight ongoing state atrocities including enforced disappearances, extra-judicial killings and killing of missing persons in fake encounters by the CTD.

The ‘Long March Against Baloch Genocide’ started in Kech Balochistan after the murder of four Baloch youths including Balach Maula Bakhsh by CTD.

The convoy of the March reached Kohlu Balochistan on Friday evening and plans to have a rally on Saturday before leaving for Taunsa Sharif.
