Balochistan: Three Baloch Civilians Killed in Shooting in Pishin

RASK: Three Baloch civilians were killed after unidentified armed men opened fire on them in the city of Pishin in Iranian-occupied Balochistan on the night of September 13, according to local sources cited by Hamangam News.

The victims were reportedly returning home from their workplace and shop at around 11 p.m. when they were attacked. The assailants, said to be travelling on two motorcycles, opened fire on the three men, killing them at the scene.

The victims were identified as Omar Nabura and Faiz Mohammad Nabura, both sons of Jan Mohammad and residents of Pishin, and Abdul Rasool Baloch son of Ayub, who was originally from Malant in Pakistani-Occupied Balochistan and had been living in Pishin. Omar and Faiz were brothers.

Local sources said Abdul Rasool’s father had moved to Pishin approximately three years earlier and was also killed in a shooting by unidentified armed men.

No group has been identified as responsible for the latest attack, and the motive behind the shooting remains unclear. There has been no reported information about arrests or the identities of those involved.

The circumstances surrounding the attack remain under investigation, according to the report.
